Wednesday 14th June
Today has been fantastic weather. A few tired little eyes in Team Clarkson after the brilliant Karaoke last night, but we soon jollied ourselves up with Team building activities in the morning.
This afternoon we have been building some interesting things out of pieces of plastic! It's amazing what can be made. We have also had a great time orienteering around the grounds and den building in the woods.
An exciting afternoon competition for denbuilding made the group really think hard. Some ingenious knot tying and balancing of logs by one group who made a frame which initially looked like it had no chance of success but, complete with French flag, provided the winning formula for success.
Both groups managed to complete the task and make a frame with a cover to accommodate the whole group -some even had a mini camp fire and other added luxuries!
Tuesday 13th June
We've had an amazing day. The high ropes this morning and then the Swings this afternoon. We have all been very brave and really challenged ourselves. Mrs Clarkson is very proud of each and everyone of us.
Mum and dads and carers (oh and brothers and sisters) we miss you but currently we are singing our heads off at Karaoke!!! X
Monday 12th June
So far we have had an exciting day. After finding our way around 'making a bed'... yes mums and dads you'd be very proud of them.... we have been busy exploring the grounds of Herd Farm. The weather has stayed dry and so far so good.
This afternoon we have been doing a spot of archery, with Jake M and Heather being the winners for their teams.
Afterwards we had great fun on the assault course.
