24 children from years 4,5 and 6 attended the aqua festival at Aireborough swimming pool. They competed against 4 other schools in various events. They all had tried their upmost and thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
A huge well done to all of the sportshall athletics team. A superb team performance has seen us progress through to the City Semi-Finals of the plate competition! Everyone put in 100% effort in all of their events and attended early morning training sessions. We will be working on our baton handovers in the New Year.
We all looked great in the new kits too ~ even the 'Where's Wally socks!!
TABLE TENNIS FESTIVAL ~ October 2015
A huge well done to the 32 children who represented school at the Table Tennis Festivals at Benton Park. Everyone learnt lots of new skills and had great fun playing on the full size tables. Lots of points were on offer and we came out winners on both occasions!
Well done to the Year 4 winning team and to Michael and James who came second and both won a new table tennis bat.
Now the only question is do we have room in the hall for a table tennis table?!
