Community Art Project - June 2017

Community Art Exhibition Day, Wednesday 21st June 2017

Some children attended the art exhibition at Guiseley Methodist Church. They enjoyed looking at the exhibits from different schools and adding to a community jungle mural.

We have been excited to be involved in the Community Art Exhibition once again. This year the theme was 'Mindfulness'. We had a great day on Friday being joined by a group of students from Guiseley High School who helped us make our large 3D owl sculpture for the pending exhibition. Children throughout the school also worked on pieces of art based on the  'mindfulness and owl' theme. The exhibition takes place on Tuesday the 20th of June 9.30am - 5pm and Wednesday the 21st June 9.30 am - 4.45pm at Guiseley Methodist Church. Local schools will be exhibiting their 3D sculptures along with other children's art work. On Wednesday at 10.45 until 11.45 am we will also have a group of children at the exhibition from our school taking part in a jungle theme workshop.

Please pop along to the Art Exhibition if you can.
