Decades Research Presentation Assembly

All classes worked really hard using their research skills to find out about life and historical events during the different decades that the Queen has been on the throne. Here are some pupils presenting their research in our special (and very interesting) assembly. How times have changed since the Queen began her reign!

God Save the Queen (the recorder version!) by Year 4

Here is 4I playing the first few lines of our national anthem. It was a challenge as we had not learnt two of the notes until this lesson, but everybody tried their best and managed to join with some, if not all, of the song. Well done 4I!

Year 6 Choir Trip To Memory Lane Café

A group of Year 6 children visited the Memory Lane Café, next to Yeadon Tarn, which supports people with dementia and Alzheimers disease. They sang songs to help them celebrate the jubilee. The café regulars were very keen to join in.
