Fundraising at Currys - July 2017

Fundraising at Currys PC World Guiseley - Tuesday 18th July 2017

What an exciting day.....On Tuesday 18th July children from Yeadon Westfield Junior School visited Currys PC World in Guiseley. As part of a fundraising event  the children sold buns in store to the general public. The buns were very kindly all made by staff at Currys PC World and (according to our chief tasters!) they were delicious.

All proceeds will go towards the renovation of our school bungalow to turn it into a new learning environment.

The store was even visited by Retail Director, Nick Smith and Area Manager, Mark Goldenberg, who alongside Store manager, Ian Juden and staff member Amanda Renton, were very impressed with both their staffs help with the event and the year 4 school councillors for selling the buns.

We would like to say a huge thank you to all the staff at the Guiseley Curry's store for contributing the buns for the sale (one cake even took 6 hours to make); for the fantastic looking stall to help us sell them and for all of their amazing help on the day.

We raised a brilliant £182.50.
