Summer Term 2024 - Year 3 - Dance Spectacular
Our Year 3 children took part in the Dance Spectacular at the recent Leeds Rhinos game. This year’s event was in support of former Rhinos star Rob Burrow and the Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association. The children performed with lots of children from schools all across Leeds. This a video of them in action, and below are a number of pictures of the event.

Summer 2022 - Jack Hunter Spivey - Paralympian
Jack Hunter-Spivey is seeded 5th in the world for table tennis. He won a bronze medal at the Tokyo paralympics and he's about the play in the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham. He gave us a talk about his disability (cerebral palsy) and growing up, and then about his achievements. We all held his bronze medal. He played table tennis against some of us (including staff). He also came outside and played table tennis with us at break time. It was bit windy!

Aqua Festival @ Holt Park
Year 5 children attended the Aqua Festival at Holt Park. This fun event provided them with a great opportunity to take part in some aquatic events and to build on their water confidence. The children had a fantastic morning as they took part in races such as an egg and spoon race, a hopping race and blowing a ping pong ball to the other side whilst swimming. The children also got to take part in a game of water polo.
